Stephen Stoffel is IN! He earned his degree from the Collat School of Business in 2017. Now, he uses his industrial distribution degree in Birmingham as a plant manager at Industrial Chemicals, Inc.
Thomas Ramsey is IN! Dr. Ramsey earned his Ph.D. in epidemiology from the UAB School of Public Health in 2017. He is now working at the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB, studying colon and prostate cancer in the minority underserved population.
Abbey Taylor is IN! She gained her bachelor’s degree in early childhood and elementary education in 2017. Since graduating from UAB, she has used her knowledge and skills to teach at the elementary level in Vestavia.
Madison Carpenter is IN! Madison graduated from UAB with the class of 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting and is now a higher education consultant for Huron here in Birmingham.
Eileen Meyer is IN! She earned both her MSN and DNP from the UAB School of Nursing in 1997 and 2017. Eileen is now the assistant director of advanced practice providers and nurse practitioners at UAB Medicine and a clinical assistant professor of nursing at UAB.
Abby Vinson is IN! Abbey graduated from UAB’s School of Business in 2017 with a B.S. in Marketing, and got her M.A. in Communications Management in 2018 from the UAB College of Arts and Sciences.
Clint Null is IN! Clint is a 2017 graduate from the UAB School of Engineering with a BSEE.
Mark Bryant is IN! Mark graduated from UAB with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering in 2003.
Lt. Col. Clarence Fairer is IN! Clarence raduated on March 17, 1985, with a BS degree in Civil Engineering from UAB!

Douglas Stephens is IN! Dr. Stephens is an Assistant Professor in the Graduate Program at Jacksonville State University (JSU). He is nationally certified as Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) through American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and licensed through the Alabama Board of Nursing. Dr. Douglas J. Stephens received a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama Birmingham in 2017. Dr. Stephens is a highly committed and compassionate healthcare professional, offering broad-based leadership and teaching experience within acute and critical care settings. Actively engages in mentorship and preceptorship of aspiring advanced practice providers.
Zachary A. Edison is IN! This two-time graduate earned his B.A. in Art Studio and B.A. in English in 2016 and 2017 respectively. Zachary is an exhibiting artist whose work is shown throughout the United States, online exhibitions, and is part of various private collections. He is also the Lead Preparator for the Birmingham Museum of Art and the Exhibitions Installer for Birmingham’s non-profit printmaking co-op PaperWorkers Local.
