The UAB Tissue Biorepository (UAB-TBR) supports numerous clinical trials that require the collection and/or processing of human tissue. Tissue samples are collected by our staff in the surgical suites, or in the clinics, processed in our laboratory via protocol specific SOPs, then shipped fresh or stored for subsequent shipment by our personnel. Groups requesting the services of the UAB-TBR in support of a clinical trial should complete and submit the Protocol Estimate Template.
