The Airway Tissue Procurement Facility (ATP), under the direction of Steven M. Rowe, M.D., MSPH, Professor of Medicine, Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine, and Physiology & Biophysics, and William Grizzle, M.D. Ph.D., Professor, Anatomic Pathology, offers specialized procurement of airway related tissues from lung transplant patients. Personnel are on-call around the clock to handle procurement of diseased lungs and normal control lungs, when these organs are made available. Researchers interested in applying for tissue specimens from the ATP should complete and submit the ATP application.
