Opportunities for training in peripheral nerve endothelial biology and neuroimmunology, with specific emphasis on autoimmune disorders, traumatic nerve injury and chronic neuropathic pain using in situ and in vitro human and murine models as well as in vivo murine models using genetically engineered and inbred strain mice are available to highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students through specific training programs offered by UAB.
