Our lab has two large-animal surgical rooms, 325 sq ft each, one animal preparation and surgical scrub rooms are adjacent to this sterile operating room. 3D PRINTING LAB
The lab houses essential equipment for 3D printed materials deposition; electrical test, including several source-measure units, signal analyzers, and a probe station; and state-of-the-art tools for biological work, including fluorescence microscopes, autoclaves, centrifuges, refrigerators, and freezers. We have custom-built next-generation equipment based on Fisnar and Aerotech printing stations with high-precision electronic pressure regulation systems. The new nanoprinting system consists of Aerotech nanopositioning stages, EFD precision fluid dispensers, and an Olympus stereomicroscope with high magnification. View more…
CARDIAC RHYTHM MANAGEMENT
It comprises approximately 20,000 square feet with facilities for acute and chronic cardiac electrophysiology studies in large animals. Within this space are rooms for surgical pack and instrument preparation, an animal preparation room, and a recovery room for postoperative monitoring. CONFOCAL LAB
The facility houses the Olympus FV3000 confocal laser scanning microscopy. Scanned by a laser beam, the microscope imagines reactions in cells at high speed, acquiring high-resolution three-dimensional images and observing fine structure and movements inside tissue or living cells. View more...
