Message from the PI
Welcome to UAB Zhang Lab! The lab dedicates to finding solutions for cardiac regeneration. They research on, but are not limited to: transplanting pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocyte transplantation, reactivating cardiac development, developing new nanovesicle and other regenerative medicines, and promoting non-cardiomyocyte healing functions. This is where experts from many fields: cardiovascular medicine, biomedical engineering, and bioinformatics, work together in great harmony.
