BIO
Ms. Green is currently a PhD student in the Dept. of Biomedical engineering at UAB. She obtained her B.S in biology at the Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University located in Huntsville, Alabama. During her undergraduate studies, she has been awarded President’s Medallion and maintained a Merit scholarship. She came to UAB in June 2021 to continue her education and studies in Dr. Zhang lab with an interest in cardiac tissue engineering and heart failure. Her current research includes 3D differentiate hiPSCs into large quantities of smooth muscle cells. Where she thrives to improve the concept/field of cardiology.
