Larry Garrett is IN! He received a B.S. in computer science from UAB in 1991. Since graduating, he has worked as a software engineer, IT consultant, and business owner. He is currently working as an IT project manager for Southern Nuclear.
Adam Aldrich is IN! He received his bachelor’s degree in computer science from UAB in 2008 and went on to become the president and co-founder of Airship, a three-time winner of the UAB Excellence in Business Top 25 Fastest Growing Companies.
Stephanie Hynes is IN! She graduated from UAB in 2011 with a degree in psychology from the College of Arts and Sciences.
Taril Slater is IN! He received his bachelor’s degree from the School of Education in 2010 and returned to UAB to earn his Master of Education in 2014.
Shamar Smiley is IN! She is using her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education to teach future generations of Blazers.
Angelica Rivas is IN! She received her bachelor’s degree in human resources from UAB in 2018 and is now pursuing her master’s degree in human resources at NYU.
Julie Hambley is IN! She earned her spot in the NAS when she graduated in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.
Kim Bennett is IN! She earned her bachelor’s, master’s, and Master of Arts in Education from UAB! This mother of four is currently looking forward to her fifth year teaching high school math here in Alabama.
Casandra Vincent is IN! Since she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 2008, that means Casandra is now a full member of the NAS.
Aishia Freeman is IN! She graduated from UAB in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. She is now a Medicaid waiver case manager in Dothan.
Brian Robinson is IN! Brian graduated in 2000 from the College of Arts and Sciences with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
Griffin Torres is IN! He is a 2015 graduate of the UAB Collat School of Business and is currently building a career in ground-breaking medical device sales.
