Luke Brasher is IN! This redshirt senior from Pell City dominates on the football field and in the classroom. Luke saw action as a linebacker in all 14 games of UAB Football’s 2019 season. This Blazer athletics standout just graduated with a degree in kinesiology and is moving on to physical therapy school. Just like every UAB alum, his enrollment in the NAS is free and automatic—From Here On IN.
Greg is IN! Greg is the Assistant Director of the UAB Office of Alumni Affairs overseeing communications and governmental relations. A TV veteran, Greg spent 15 years covering sports, news, and administration. He is a 2020 graduate of UAB with a degree in communications management. A transplant to Birmingham from the Midwest, Greg has been working with the NAS for six years. His daughter, Lexi, is a current student in the UAB School of Education.
Ivana is IN! She is a member of UAB’s most recent graduating class with a B.S. in Health Care Management and is hoping to start graduate school in Health Informatics in the Fall of 2021.
Lauren Townley is IN! She very recently joined our Alumni Society by graduating with a B.S. in civil engineering in 2020 and is now working as an engineer for a Civil Engineering company here in Birmingham.
James Marinos is IN! This 52-year-old father earned his bachelor’s degree in social work from UAB in May of 2020.
Ceseley Lewis is IN! She is a member of our most recent alumni class, graduating with a Bachelor of Science from the College of Arts and Sciences in 2020.
Alec Marsch is IN! He’s shown his skills on the field as wide receiver for the Blazer football team and in the classroom as an accounting major. A member of UAB’s most recent graduating class, he’s now automatically a member of the NAS, just like his teammates and his classmates–From Here On IN.
Danielle Ivey is IN! In 2017 she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in English, then she graduated again in 2020 with another bachelor’s degree in communication management. She is currently a digital philanthropy specialist at UAB.
Nicole Kocher is IN! This alum secured her master’s degree in biotechnology in 2020. Nicole is currently completing an internship with the neurology department of Lenox Hill Hospital.
Danielle Foster is IN! After earning her bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy in 2013, she continued her education and earned her master’s degree in community health in 2020. Danielle is a current registered respiratory therapist at UAB and Special Care Providers.
Josh Nichols is IN! This father of four recently graduated from UAB in 2020 with his Master of Engineering in information engineering and management. Josh now works in Huntsville as an aerial photographer for the U.S. Army Redstone Test Center’s Aviation Flight Test Directorate.
India Menefield is IN! India gained her Bachelor of Science in health care management in 2020. This recent UAB graduate is staying in the Birmingham area and hopes to enter the world of pharmaceutical sales.
