Taurus Felton is IN! I am a former student-athlete who played football for Watson Brown for two seasons, 1995-1997. I earned my undergraduate degree in History from UAB in 1997 with a minor in Criminal Justice. I have spent the last 24 years in public education. In 2003, I earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I have worked in a variety of school settings: rural, urban, as well as suburban serving as a social science teacher and athletic coach. For the last eight years, I have served as an assistant principal. Currently, I am employed in Hoover City Schools.

Sheikh Abujar is IN! Sheikh is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) under the advisement of Dr. Chengcui Zhang. Sheikh has received the prestigious Blazer Doctorate Fellowship. His research focuses on applications of deep learning, computer vision, speech recognition, and data science. Sheikh likes traveling, swimming, cycling, and playing badminton.

Zachary is an exhibiting artist whose work is shown throughout the United States, online exhibitions, and is part of various private collections. He is also the Lead Preparator for the Birmingham Museum of Art and the Exhibitions Installer for Birmingham’s non-profit printmaking co-op PaperWorkers Local.
