Melissa Yes is IN! Melissa is an outstanding artist with an eye for excellence in multiple media. This 2006 and 2012 grad uses her incredible talents to blend art and science to create objects, installations, video art, and performance pieces that truly inspire. Now, her membership in the National Alumni Society is free and automatic, just like all who receive a degree from UAB—From Here On IN.
Ivana is IN! This Blazer graduated in 2012 with her BA from UAB and is now a part of the essential work force.
Heather Palmer is IN! Heather received a degree in music education – instrumental in 2012.
Ashley Jones is IN! Ashley earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in creative writing from UAB in 2012. After earning her MFA in poetry from Florida International University, she has become a published and decorated poet and essayist.
Bryan Combs is IN! Bryan is a three-time graduate of the UAB School of Nursing! He earned his MSN as a clinical nurse leader in 2010, MSN as a family nurse practitioner in 2012, and his Ph.D. in 2019. Dr. Combs has been a faculty member at the UAB School of Nursing since 2013 and is currently the director of the nurse practitioner pathways.
Liz McCullough is IN! She got her B.A. in Communications Studies in 2012, and her M.A. in Communication Management in 2014. Liz currently works for UAB National Alumni Society doing social media, graphic design, and athletic events while pursuing a graduate certificate in Social Media.
Gavin Gillison is IN! Gavin raduated in 2012, with a BS degree in Finance from UAB! Currently, he serve as the Director of Financial Planning and Senior Client Consultant with WA Asset Management in Birmingham, AL. He works with clients concerning various financial matters, such as retirement planning and investment management.
