Jessica Brown is IN! This Communication Studies grad oversees the content team at Big Communications, leading paid and organic strategies across the agency. She joined the organization in 2016 to manage content efforts for Valvoline™, inclusive of social strategy, digital community planning and influencer campaigns. Brown was a student intern for the UAB Athletic Department, then spent 10 years in professional motorsports before joining Big.
Adam Aldrich is IN! He received his bachelor’s degree in computer science from UAB in 2008 and went on to become the president and co-founder of Airship, a three-time winner of the UAB Excellence in Business Top 25 Fastest Growing Companies.
Tiffany Bishop is IN! In 2008, she earned her B.A. in sociology and went on to work for the McWane Science Center and Girl Scouts of North–Central Alabama before joining The Ōnin Group and becoming their current regional workforce development manager. She is also a founding member of Lead On, a women’s leadership and networking group in Birmingham.
Ginger Letford is IN! In 2008 Ginger’s hard work paid off, and she graduated from the UAB College of Arts and Sciences with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
Alicia Rohan is IN! She earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and distribution in 2008 from the UAB Collat School of Business. Now, Alicia serves as public relations manager for UAB University Relations, where she cultivates and pitches content for units across campus sharing the Blazers’ good news.
Sidney R. Lankford, Jr. received his R.N. to B.S.N. from UAB in 2008 and received his M.S.N.-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from UAB in 2011. He currently works as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. He has 3 children: Xavier, William, and Morgan and a “fur son” named Roman. He currently reside in Pelham, AL.
Christopher Watson is IN! Christopher Watson is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician practicing full scope family medicine including surgical obstetrics. He graduated from UAB in 2004 with a B.S. Degree in Biopsychology. He is currently a Core Faculty Member at Ascension St. Vincent’s Family Medicine Residency Program in Jacksonville, Fla. He is currently active in the American Balint Society and the Florida Academy of Family Physicians (FAFP) Justice, Equity, Inclusion and Diversity Task Force. Christopher is a Teach For America Alumni as well as a National Health Service Scholar. Christopher served as student and resident member to the American Academy of Family Physicians Foundation Board of Trustees. He is currently a faculty member in the Foundation’s Family Medicine Leads Emerging Leaders Institute. Christopher has an array of interests in primary care including maternal health, men’s health, and transgender health. He is interested in creating safe spaces that promote inclusion and diversity.
