Eric Lee is IN! After coming to UAB on a soccer scholarship, Eric graduated in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in business. Since graduation, this father of two has held various sales positions in the medical industry.
Jon Curren is IN! In 1988, Jon earned his bachelor’s degree from the UAB School Nursing. Now, Jon is a registered nurse and has been working to help people for 32 years.
Glenda Smith Pace is IN! Glenda has a B.S. in Natural Science and Mathematics as well as a B.S. in Medical Technology. She graduated from the UAB College of Arts and Sciences in 1988, and the UAB School of Health Professions in 1989.
Marland Hayes is IN! UAB Class of 1988. UA Law School Class of 1991. Practicing attorney based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Practice focus is the areas of commercial financing, bond finance, acquisitions, commercial real estate, industrial incentives, environmental and corporate issues. Represent multifamily-housing and mixed-use developers in acquisitions, financings and operations. Routinely serve as lender’s counsel in loan transactions for several local and regional banks. Advise developers and lenders on project-based finance. Serve as corporate trustee counsel in municipal and corporate financings. Work with closely-held company owners in general company matters and succession planning.
William Bowlin is IN! Born and raised in the west side of Birmingham William attended Ensley High School. After four years in the Marine Corps, he completed his BA in History and was commissioned into the US Army. While stationed at Ft. McClellan, Alabama he completed his MA in History. Since retiring from active duty he has been a social studies teacher, and adjunct instructor for St. Philip’s College in San Antonio, Texas. He is married and has two sons.
