I received my B.S. in Laboratory Technology from Auburn University in 1999. Shortly thereafter, I started work in a research lab at UAB. I transferred to the Samant lab in 2013. My research focuses on the use of fisetin in cancer treatment, specifically its affect on nucleolar function and RNA polymerase I activity. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two kids and our dog and baking treats to share with the lab!
