Doug and Renita Rigney are IN! Since meeting at UAB, this couple has spent their long careers serving the students and community of Birmingham. Doug has four degrees from the UAB School of Engineering from his B.S.E. in 1980 to his Ph.D. in 1989. Renita earned her B.S.N. from the School of Nursing in 1980. Doug and Renita have each served a term as National Alumni Society president, making them a real first family of the green and gold. As alumni, they now receive automatic, free membership in the NAS, just like every student after graduation. Sign-ups and dues are out—From Here On IN.
