Request a Letter of Support

An approved concept study is not required to obtain a letter of support (LOS) for an externally funded grant that proposes to use CNICS data. If a concept has not yet been approved by the CNICS Review Committee (RCC), the letter will state that CNICS data may be available for use; however, this does not constitute a guarantee. In such cases, the letter will not include specific patient counts or confirm the availability of specific data elements. If you wish to include confirmed patient numbers and data availability, please allow approximately four weeks to receive feasibility information from the Data Core. Letters of support for studies with an approved concept will include the RCC review date and will confirm that the study has been approved to proceed within CNICS, along with confirmation of the specific data available for the study.
