In 2008, she earned her B.A. in sociology and went on to work for the McWane Science Center and Girl Scouts of North–Central Alabama before joining The Ōnin Group and becoming their current regional workforce development manager. She is also a founding member of Lead On, a women’s leadership and networking group in Birmingham.
