End of the Year Celebration

We wrapped up 2022 in style with an End of Year celebration for our excellent supervisors and VISTA members. This year we are celebrating 💥91,915💥 hours in service to our Alabama communities. We can’t wait to see all of the great things these folks do next year!

Black Belt VISTAs and Site Supervisors

The UAB Sanitation Health Program hosted an Educational Event and Health Fair, Saturday, April 16, 2022, at the Wilcox Central High School Gymnasium in Camden Alabama. UAB Sanitation Health Program is a public health promotion project to screen residents of Black Belt Counties for intestinal parasites and related infections that community residents may be at risk for due to failing sanitation systems throughout the region. The event included door prizes, free food, resource tables, and educational material from local Black Belt organizations for the public.
