AmeriCorps Week Proclamation

To kick off AmeriCorps Week, the UAB-Statewide AmeriCorps VISTA Program attended the Proclamation Ceremony at the City Hall Council Chamber to recognize AmeriCorps members and their service throughout the Birmingham Metro Area. End of the Year Celebration

We wrapped up 2022 in style with an End of Year celebration for our excellent supervisors and VISTA members. This year we are celebrating 💥91,915💥 hours in service to our Alabama communities. We can’t wait to see all of the great things these folks do next year!

Campus-Community Speed Matching Event

UAB-Statewide AmeriCorps VISTA program staff and local host sites participated in the Campus-Community Speed Matching event on November 2nd, at the Office of Service Learning and Undergraduate Research. This event gave VISTA host sites, students, faculty, and community partners a chance to make a connection that benefits them and their organization.
