It’s been a while since we went for a lab lunch, so we decided to celebrate Ali and Siam’s successful AHA fellowship awards with a trip to the Bay Leaf lunch buffet! Apparently Nick and Dan don’t know that eyes are supposed to be open for group photos. Thanks to Ali for always capturing the moment on camera!

Ali and Siam both received their AHA Predoctoral Fellowships!!! They got the news on the same day which was awesome! They have both worked extremely hard on these applications and I am super proud of their accomplishment. Very well deserved for both of them!

Nick Brazell has joined Dr. Tyrrell’s lab. Nick did a rotation in the lab in the Fall 2024 and decided to join us in March 2025. Nick previously worked at HudsonAlpha Institute in Huntsville AL and attended Auburn University prior to that. Nick is an Immunology student interested in Neuroimmunology and Neurodegeneration. Welcome to the lab!
