UAB’s Center for Community Outreach Development (CORD) is a university-wide center that provides an effective interface between UAB and the city of Birmingham.

The UAB Neuroscience Graduate program puts on a Brain Awareness Week event each March in collaboration with CORD and the McWane Science Center. In 2021, we have put these events online! Here is information about the events, our group, and lists of the online events on facebook.
The undergraduate program puts on an annual Brain Bee. In 2014, the UAB winner won second in the national competition.
