General information about participation:
We are looking for people to participate in fMRI, EEG, and behavioral studies. Studies take 1-4 hours to complete per session, and you will be compensated $8-25/hour for your time.
To be eligible to participate in our studies, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have no history of neurological disorders
- Not be currently taking psychoactive medications

Current research studies:
Factors in Learning and Plasticity Study
- To Participate, you must:
- Be between 18 and 89 years old
- Have severe macular degeneration in both eyes OR good vision in both eyes (glasses or contacts are OK)
- Participation Involves:
- Approximately 24-25 visits to our office at UAB
- 2 visits will involve an MRI scan
- Free parking & Compensation will be provided
