Stroke Recovery Clinic
This is a monthly multidisciplinary clinic for patients with stroke and therapy, rehabilitation, and/or neuropsychology needs. We also record patients progress via a detailed outcome assessment during clinic visits. The multidisciplinary clinic offers the combined expertise of stroke neurologists with rehabilitation physicians and therapists so patients can have all their medical and rehabilitation needs met at one time in one place. Stroke neuroimaging studies
We are performing advanced neuroimaging studies in stroke patients with comorbid mood disorders and correlating with outcomes.
Stroke Registry Projects
Students will help collect information from hospital records to compile into a registry containing all information from admitted patients at UAB with stroke. Students are encouraged to generate their own questions from this experience.
