Biography

Hello, my name is Kaycee Hair (she/her/hers)! I am a Clinical Research Coordinator for Dr. Chu’s lab here at UAB. I have the privilege of working with our robust team and assisting on various research projects within the lab whether it is recruitment, scheduling, processing compensation, and occasionally facilitating interviews and focus groups. I love qualitative research and many of my professional goals began taking flight by working with Dr. Chu and his amazing team. I was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, and have moved to Birmingham to get to know the Magic City. I graduated from Auburn University in 2019 where I received my bachelor’s in Psychology. I then graduated with my master’s from UAB in 2023 with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In my free time, you can typically find me bullet journaling, paddle boarding, yoga, tending to my many house plants, playing the bass, and cooking. Be well and be kind!
