Biography
Hello! I am Isabel Marques, and I am from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I have been a member of Dr. Chu’s lab since 2017, originally as a visiting scholar after graduating medical school at the Federal University of Parana in Brazil. My research interests include health disparities, and surgical outcomes which makes me feel right at home in this lab. My typical operations include data collection, organization and management of lab operations, abstract submissions and manuscript writing. I am applying for Residency in this upcoming application cycle and excited for what is next to come!
