Biography
My name is Adrian Harsono, and I am excited to join Dr. Chu’s lab as a postdoctoral fellow! I was born and raised in Indonesia, where I completed medical school. After graduating, I completed my internship and practiced medicine in different settings from the primary to the secondary healthcare level. I have been involved with lab activities since 2022, working on some projects about enhanced recovery protocol (ERP) while completing my Master of Science in Public Health from UAB in 2023 before starting as a full-time postdoc afterward. My main research focus is adapting existing ERPs to the contextual needs of low-health literacy populations. Outside of medicine, I am an authentic sushi and ramen enthusiast, and I really love playing tennis and pickleball, indoor cycling, and traveling!
