Biography

Hi, I’m Tara Wood. I completed my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Alabama and my MPH here at UAB in Epidemiology. Before joining Dr. Chu’s lab as a researcher, I worked in various basic science labs and have done research in microbiology, genetics, and neuroscience. In my personal time, I collect fountain pens, write fantasy and Sci-fi novels, and knit socks in really bright colors.
