The purpose of this GIS based toolbox is to serve as a one-stop shop for flood damage and resiliency, not only for the state of Alabama, but for the continental United States. This interactive and robust toolbox will help people in identifying their personalised risk for individual properties. This is an ongoing effort by the GIS and Water Resources team at the Remote Sensing and Resiliency lab. In future, we will add more functionality to get customized risk reports for different types of natural disasters affecting individual homeowners.
