Mario Robledo (Troy University) and Mya Smith (Tuskegee University) are completing research in the Rose Lab during summer 2024. Both Mario and Mya are working on a collaborative project between the UAB Department of Surgery and UAB Department of Hematology & Oncology that investigates HIF-2a in gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors.
