Danilea M Carmona Matos from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine was selected as one of the 2018 HHMI Medical Research Fellows Awardees.
Danilea had previously been at our lab during summer 2017. She had a strong interest in research, academia and general surgery for which she applied for this competitive fellowship. She will now be spending a year at our lab working on executing her research proposal.
