About: Tanya Sinha is a medical student at the University of Alabama Heersink School of Medicine (SOM) pursuing Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), as well as an MPH student at UAB specializing in Health Behavior. She serves as the President of the SOM PM&R Interest Group, is an intern with the University Recreation Center, sits on National boards for Representation in Rehab and Pathways in PM&R, and actively volunteers on the junior board of both the Lakeshore Foundation and the Birmingham Crisis Center. She is also very involved in several research projects related to Neuro Rehab, Peds Rehab, Med-Ed, Disability Curriculums, Mental Health, and more. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, doing henna art, cooking, dog sitting, running, and spending time with family and friends.
Fun Fact: I lived in Singapore when I was growing up and can speak Mandarin!
