About: Emma Taylor is an AmeriCorps VISTA affiliated with the University of Alabama at Birmingham and The National Center on Health, Physical Activity, and Disability. She graduated from Roanoke College in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in psychology, and she plans to continue her education at UAB working towards a degree in the field of Public Health. She is helping to develop a free six week online mental wellness program through The National Center on Health, Physical Activity, and Disability called GROWTH for adults living with mobility limitations. In GROWTH, her role is to bring an understanding of the program both from a content perspective, and from personal experience with a lifetime of living with Cerebral Palsy.
Fun Fact: I worked as a summer camp counselor in North Carolina for eight years.
