About: Consuelo Click is currently a PhD student in the Public Health-Health Behavior program at UAB, and is employed as the Associate Director at UAB Student Counseling Services. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over sixteen years of experience in the field of counseling. Also, she is a certified Mental Health First Aid trainer and QPR trainer. She provides clinical expertise and support for the NCHPAD GROWTH (Growing Resilience Out of Wellness and Thoughtful Habits) Mental Well-Being Program. She plans to focus her dissertation on the NCHPAD GROWTH program and integrating health behavior and translational sciences in advancing clinical to public health practice to support mental health and well-being for people with a disability.
Fun Fact: She loves a challenge when it comes to repairing and fixing things, from her car to plumbing in her house.
