About: Kalani Upshaw is a Community Health Educator at NCHPAD, which is the National Center on Health, Physical Activity, and Disability. Kalani’s work primarily focuses on developing and implementing a mental health promotion program called GROWTH, which stands for Growing Resilience Out of Wellness and Thoughtful Habits, for adults living with mobility limitations. She also does community outreach and engagement among people living with mobility limitations.
