Our Research

Research Collaboration with Auburn University

The cutting-edge research we’re undertaking at UAB wouldn’t be possible without our Alabama equestrian community relationships. Notably, we’ve partnered with the highly decorated Auburn University Equestrian Team, winner of multiple national championships, to conduct some of our research. Our goal is to produce research that extends beyond the laboratory setting, translating into real-world knowledge that makes the equestrian sport as safe as possible. Head coach, Jessica Braswell, and head coach emeritus, Greg Williams, help us toward that goal, offering advice on our study designs and helping us connect with equestrians competing successfully at the highest collegiate levels.
