Collaboration Opportunities with the Deep South Center

The Deep South Center (DSC) is looking for collaborators to participate in sponsored research projects using the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant mechanisms. We are seeking small businesses to partner with for projects in the broader area of Occupational Safety and Health and more specifically in Occupational Hygiene. 

Potential projects could be in the areas of: 

  1. a. occupational exposure assessment to physical agents (noise, vibration, heat, etc.), chemical agents (gases, vapors, and particulate matter)
  2. b. control of exposures using engineering means such as ventilation and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  3. c. new sampling strategies and devices for occupational exposure assessment, etc.
