We are the center for excellence in research, training and outreach for Occupational Health Nursing, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety and Ergonomics in the Southeastern US. Since 1982, the DSC has greatly impacted our region’s economy and workforce. The research conducted by our faculty and students is consistently awarded for excellence and has been highlighted in numerous scientific journals and presentations at professional conferences.
