My group seeks to understand the mechanism and regulation of translation, the process by which mRNAs are decoded into proteins. Overall, my research program combines knowledge and techniques from multiple disciplines, including biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, and bioinformatics to perform both basic and translational research.
