Open House for UAB Neuroengineering PhD Program
The UAB Neuroengineering PhD Program is currently accepting applications for fall 2022. Please join us for an open house, which will feature information about the Neuroengineering PhD Program as well as other Neuroscience-related programs at UAB. UAB Neuroengineering PhD Program Enrolls First Class of Incoming Students
The UAB Neuroengineering PhD Program enrolled its first class of incoming students starting in fall 2021. All four of these highly qualified students were awarded Blazer Fellowships, which supports their first 4 semesters of graduate study at UAB. After that, they will be supported by their mentor’s lab for the duration of their doctoral studies.
Andee Beierle has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University.
Parya Hamidi has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Hamedan University of Technology in Iran.
Anas Khan has a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from UAB.
Serenah Smith has a Bachelor of Science in Genetics & Biotechnology, and a Master of Science in Biology from Middle Tennessee State University.
