Responding to Disasters, Time Critical Data Collection: The National Institutes of Health has established an agreement with the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) that will support two Natural Hazard Centers, one at the University of Colorado Boulder and the other at the University of Washington. Both are known for their disaster response expertise. These groups are able to distribute funds for research responding to disasters and can be found here.
