About

We recognize the increasing threat of climate change to public health, especially among vulnerable populations and communities. By bringing together experts from various disciplines and fostering collaboration, we aim to address critical research questions, develop innovative solutions, build resilience in vulnerable communities and advocate for the practices and policies that promote health equity and reduce disparities.

Our Mission

Specifically, we are developing infrastructure to support researchers from a variety of fields including public health, disaster management, social sciences, engineering, meteorology and more. The Initiative is committed to engaging with local, national and global communities and stakeholders, and to collaboration with partners from diverse sectors to identify and address the most pressing issues related to climate change and health.
