Adair graduated from the College of Charleston, where she received a B.A. in Psychology. She previously worked as a Registered Behavior Technician at Mitchell’s Place, providing ABA therapy for children ages 3-6 on the autism spectrum. Adair is interested in research in autism spectrum disorder and the transition from early intervention settings to school settings. She plans to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology.

Dr. Smitha K. A. received her PhD from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum, Kerala, India. Her PhD dissertation was “Advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging Techniques for the differentiation and characterization of Brain tumors with histopathology Correlation”. Smitha was awarded DBT Research Associateship (5 year) from the Department of Biotechnology, at the Government of India. The DBT Research Associateship focused on resting state and task based functional MRI in the temporal lobe of epilepsy patients. Her research interests are conventional MRI, Proton MR Spectroscopy, resting state fMRI, task-based fMRI and Diffusion Tensor Imaging. Dr. Smitha K. A. previously worked as the neuroimaging post-doc on the BrainREAD Project, and is now an external collaborator of the lab.
