Elizabeth E. Brown | Integrative Molecular And Genetic Epidemiology (IMAGE) Lab

Overview

IMAGE Laboratory research programs focus on molecular and genetic epidemiology and health disparities of plasma cell proliferative disorders, lymphoma and systemic lupus erythematosus. Multidisciplinary studies of etiology, natural history, pathogenesis and outcomes enable the discovery of blood-based biomarkers for disease susceptibility, progression and clinical management as well as the identification of new therapeutic targets, with clinical impact.

We are located in the Department of Pathology, and are members of the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center, Comprehensive Arthritis, Musculoskeletal, Bone and Autoimmunity Center, Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Center and Graduate Biomedical Sciences and Medical Scientist Training Programs.
