What is an infographic?

Infographics are used to present an overview of a topic in ways that are easy to understand. Infographics include graphs, charts, images, and minimal text. Infographics created as a part of your internship product should be based in evidence. Infographics and final products that market, promote, or endorse services, products, medications/drugs (FDA approved or not) are not acceptable.

Students should not re-create infographics or blog posts which already exist from resources like the CDC and other foundations/association ex. American Heart Association. Rather, students should look for evidence-based information and data to tailor infographics to fit the needs and target population of their host organization.

What programs or software can I use to make an infographic?

There are many design sites/software that you can use to create infographics including Canva, Word, and Adobe.
