The SOPH will be taking a group of interested students for an public health field trip to the CDC and the CDC Museum in Atlanta, GA—an incredible opportunity for public health students to see a behind the scenes view of the Centers for Disease Control! This trip will provide you with a behind-the-scenes look at one of the world’s leading public health organizations, while giving you the chance to meet with alumni to learn more about their various public health impacts and projects as well as the paths they took to get there. You’ll gain invaluable insights into the work being done at the CDC and learn more about how to get involved with internships, fellowships, and careers. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to expand your knowledge and network with public health practitioners!  The bus will depart the SOPH at 6:00 AM SHARP via charter bus and will return by 5:00 PM. The cost of this trip is $20. This will cover your transportation to/from Atlanta, GA, snacks on the bus, and lunch. Cash or check payments can be made in person in RPHB 543 between the hours of 9 AM – 4 PM. 3. Space on the bus is limited. The first 50 people who register using this form and pay for the field trip. Submission of this form does not automatically reserve your spot. You must register using this form and pay $20 to reserve your spot for this trip.

4. Space is limited to UAB School of Public Health Students (undergraduate, minors, masters, doctoral, and certificate in PH).
