Neuroinflammation and age-associated brain pathology: two potential
mechanisms of cognitive impairment in breast cancer

The purpose of the study is to look at the effects of chemotherapy and age on
memory problems in breast cancer patients. This study will use two
investigational drugs, [18F]DPA-714 and [11C]PiB, along with PET/MRI imaging equipment
to look for inflammation and beta-amyloid proteins in the brain.

The purpose of the study is to examine the effects of chemotherapy and age on cancer related cognitive or memory problems in ovarian cancer patients. This study will use two investigational, radioactive drugs, [18F]DPA-714 and [11C]PiB, along with PET/MRI imaging to look for inflammation and abnormal protein deposits in the brain.

Establishing a Neurocognitive Biorepository for Brain Tumor Patients at UAB

The purpose of the study is to learn more about cognitive processes like memory or language in people who have been diagnosed with a brain tumor at UAB.
