Trainees who have joined their dissertation lab and about to begin year 2 of graduate school are eligible to apply. Selected trainees will matriculate through the TMS curriculum in the theur 2nd-3rd year of graduate school. An integrative curriculum is proposed that involves didactic and experiential elements including team-based exercises that foster innovation, entrepreneurship, training in requisite skills and knowledge in the drug discovery process and how these are commercialized, and meaningful clinical / patient interaction experiences. The program leverages institutional investments in translational science and expertise from >50 training faculty with broad research and disease areas of interest.
