GRR-HTB Service Request Process
Step 1
Request an initial online consultation
You and TB experts comprising our Biospecimen Team will discuss the scope and feasibility of your potential Service Request Proposal involving GRR-HTB human TB specimens and analysis. All discussions are completely confidential and there is no obligation to proceed beyond Step 1. Request your initial online consultation here.
Step 2
Submit your Service Request Proposal
If your initial consultation indicates that appropriate human TB specimens are available and the required analysis is feasible, you will be invited to submit a Service Request Proposal. If the GRR-HTB does not offer the required analysis, your Service Request Proposal should specifically address human TB tissue requirements. Service Request Proposals must adhere to our formatting guidelines.
Step 3
Service Request Proposals are evaluated by our Oversight and Review Committee
The Oversight and Review Committee is comprised of TB experts and will include basic/clinical researchers, clinicians, patient advocates, and regulatory experts. Service Request Proposals are selected based on scientific quality, including the significance, innovation, and potential impact of the proposed work.
Step 4
Your project enters the GRR-HTB analytical pipeline
If selected, you will be informed and provided with a tentative timeline for project completion.
Step 5
Download your data following completion of your project
You will be notified when your data are available for download from a secure Globus folder. A Data Use Agreement or Material Transfer Agreement with your institution will be required.
