How to apply to the Spatial Biology PRIME program:

You can register your interest in the program at this link. If we get inquiries from mentors about potential applicants, we can then share your information.
The best way to move forward with an application is to contact potential PIs to express your interest in the program and to determine whether they are recruiting a postdoctoral fellow. Ideally, identify and contact up to three potential mentors.
Once you have a mentor interested in your application, please submit the following documents to spatialprime@uabmc.edu: an academic CV, a one-page statement of research interests, a one-page statement of career goals, a list of up to three potential research mentors in the HSOM or ENG, and three letters of reference.
Applications will be accepted starting October 1, 2025 until March 31, 2026. The applications will be considered under the guidance of the I-4ward task force and prospective mentors. Finalists will be selected in April of 2026 for an interview, with final offers made in April or May 2026. Start dates must occur before September 1st of the year accepted.
