The Deep South Resource Center for Minority Aging Research (RCMAR) invites Letters of Intent (LOI) to apply for one-year pilot grants focusing on health problems that are particularly prevalent among older African Americans in both rural and urban settings.

  • Available funds: up to $40,000
  • Number of awards: 2 – 4 projects may be funded
  • Award Project Period: One year: July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026
  • Eligibility: Applicants must have a faculty appointment at UAB

  • Letter of Intent (LOI) Due: On or before Wednesday, September 4, 2024
  • Applications Due: On or before Monday, November 18, 2024
  • Response to Reviews Due: Friday, February, 21, 2025
